1. Carefully pry the shift frame up from the base and once the frame is off, flip the old boot cover inside out until the shift lever is exposed. |

2. Cut the metal ring around the plastic prongs holding the shift knob. Next, carefully pry the plastic prongs up while at the same time pulling up on the shift knob. The knob will then slide up off of the shift lever. |

4. With the knob off, remove the plastic retaining sleeve, which holds the boot cover to the shift knob. |

5. Remove the clamps from the plastic frame and remove the shift boot. |

8. Flip the boot inside out and slide the new boot onto the knob. |
|
9. Now move the plastic retaining sleeve, which holds the boot cover over the shift knob |
|
10. Flip the Boot to normal side and put it onto the plastic frame. |
|
11. Put the shift knob back to the shift level. |
|
12. Re-install the bottom of the boot by pressing it down. |

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking. |
