Our custom leather armrest cover will cover the wear, scuffing and scratches (or just the dull stock uninteresting plastic).

Padded Armrest cover - Extra Comfort for Your Ride
Ever suffered sore elbows due to the stiffness of your stock armrest? Or a sore back or shoulder from having to lean towards the armrest since it's too low for comfort? A padded center console armrest cover will fix it! The padding, while soft to touch, provides comfortable and soft support for your elbow. Here's a quote from one of our customers:
"The armrest cover for the Acura TL turned out substantially better than I could have imagined. I got mine with the 6/8" padding, which is more than ample. The comfort of this vs. the stock padding is amazing. The leather is top quality as well. I would highly recommend getting one of these covers as a fantastic upgrade of the interior of any car. RedlineGoods.com is a great company with great products. They made the whole process very easy and answered any questions quickly and professionally." Bob Frank of Westhampton, NJ
We offer two variants of padding for our armrest covers:
6/8" thick - REALLY COMFORTABLE. We guarantee that you will enjoy the difference from your stock armrest! There is one layer of foam making sure you will never have to rub your sore elbow again! Recommended for all applications where the factory armrest is rock-hard plastic.
1 1/8" thick - EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. The only downside is that your armrest will really be a lot taller than the stock piece, which makes the installation slightly more difficult. It comprises two layers of foam, 6/8" and an added 5/8" layer on top of the first one.
Installing a padded armrest cover is more involved than a regular (non-padded) one - see below for a detailed walk-through - however, the extra effort is well worth it! Just see for yourself:
"Just an update I successfully installed the armrest cover and it looks and feels great. I pre-trimmed the extra foam. The elastic band was helpful in pre-fitting though I removed it for the final application. I used 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive which also worked great. The armrest felt so much better than the old one during a 7 hour trip this week. No more sore elbow - definitely worth it! " William D of Gilbert, AZ
Padded armrest cover installation
To install an armrest cover with padding, first glue the foam to the factory armrest, and shave it down on the edges using a retractable blade or similar tool. The picture below shows an extreme example where a relief for the armrest lid release button needed to be carved out. Still, totally doable as a DIY project:
Test-fit the cover on the now padded lid, and keep shaving off the edges until the cover fits nicely. Then, glue the cover to the padding, and the sides (including underside, if applicable for your vehicle). Some minor wrinkling might be difficult to avoid around concave areas like the release button pictured below. Most factory armrests have a release latch or button outside of the upholstered area. On those, the wrinkles seen below will not happen at all.
Here's the end result. While the armrest might look a bit awkard/bulky, the comfort level is worlds apart from the factory armrest!
Armrest Cover Maintenance and Care
To keep your custom console armrest cover looking like new for years to come, make sure to:
1. Clean it regularly: Wipe the lid with a soft, damp cloth regularly to remove dust, dirt, and stains. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the leather. If your armrest cover is made with Alcantara® - make sure to consult the Alcantara maintenance and care tips published by the maker of this trademarked fabric, ie. Alcantara Sp. A from Italy.
2. Condition it: Apply the correct (for the material armrest cover was made with) conditioner every few months to keep it supple and prevent drying out and cracking. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific conditioner you use.
3. Avoid sunlight or protect against it: If your car's interior is exposed to intensive sunlight, we recommend a sunshade to prevent fading and discoloration.
4. Avoid spills and stains: Be mindful of liquids and food items that can potentially spill and stain the armrest. Clean up any spills immediately to prevent permanent staining.
5. Avoid sharp objects: Keep sharp objects such as keys, pens, or tools away from the cover to prevent scratches or tears.
By following these simple tips, you'll be able to enjoy your car armrest for years to come!
