shift boot installation guide

1. Carefully pry the shift frame up from the base and once the frame is off, flip the old boot cover inside out until the shift lever is exposed.

2. Unscrew the shift knob counter-clockwise. Cut the zip-tie to remove the old boot and frame from the car.

3. Remove the clamps from the plastic frame and remove the shift boot.

4. Install the frame into the new boot by using glue or clamps, whichever you prefer.

5. Flip the boot inside out and slide the new boot onto the shifter.

6. Re-install the bottom of the boot by pressing it down. Reinstall the shift knob and enjoy!

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
