shift boot installation guide

1. Simply slide the new ebrake boot over the handle and adjust how it sits. It should be a snug fit.

2. Remove the shiftknob by unscrewing the piece counterclockwise. Pull both front seats all the way forward and unscrew the 2 screws holding the center console on each side by the seatbelt location.

3. Unscrew the 1 screw on each side of the console below the radio assembly by the footwell area.

4. Pull up the center piece next to the shifter and uncrew the 4 screws holding the center console to the floor.

5. Pull up center console and remove old shiftboot assembly. Replace the shiftboot with new one and screw each side of the retaining plastic ring. Install center console back (reverse steps 1-4) and all the screws and install shift knob. All done.

CONGRATULATIONS - YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED YOUR NEW LEATHER BOOTS!

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
