2. Remove the screw from each side of the front center console piece (2 screws). |
|
3. Remove the two screws from inside the bottom center console tray. Remove the screw from each side of the back center console piece. |
|
4. Pry the small tray out from underneath the e-brake. |
|
5. Remove the 2 screws. |
|
6. Lift up the back center console piece, and then the front center console piece and slide the front piece off. |
|
7. Unscrew shift boot bracket. |
|
8. Remove old shift boot and install new one making sure to line up the wide side of the boot with the wide side on the console. | |
9. Remove bracket and discard the rubber piece. Install e-brake boot with double stitches on top. You may wish to cut a small notch on the boot for the middle screws on the bracket. |

10. Re-install the shift boot bracket and reassemble center console. |

11. Carefully snap the tray back into place making sure the boot doesn't pull out from the bracket. You may need to adjust the folds in the leather a bit so it doesn't pull out when you engange or release the brake. |

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking. |
