1. First unscrew the shift knob to take the shift boot out.
2. Unsnap shift boot frame from center console and pull up over shifter. |

3. Cut zip-tie attaching shift boot to shifter.
4. Remove shift boot and frame from shifter.
5. Remove shift boot frame and install it on the new shift boot.
6. If you are not installing the e-brake boot, reinstall the new shift boot with the exception that the zip-tie is no longer needed. You are done at this point. |

7. Loosen the two screws on center console located near rear seat cup holder.
8. Slide e-brake boot up the handle.
9. Begin lifting center console out from rear cup holder. |

10. Remove clips attaching front of center console to front cup holders using angled needle-nose pliers.
11. Continue to lift and remove center console from vehicle while sliding e-brake boot up the handle. |
|
12. Turn center console over and drill out plastic welds attaching e-brake boot and frame to center console using a 3/32” bit.
13. Remove e-brake boot and frame from center console.
14. Remove e-brake boot frame and reinstall on new e-brake boot. |

15. Reattach e-brake boot and frame to center console using epoxy putty – let cure for at least 30 minutes, then test that it has bonded securely. |

16. Reinstall center console to vehicle. |

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking. |
